Edge node API

This node answers a small read-only surface. Cache purges, stats and account operations live on the control plane at api.mediabyte.tech/v1/ and are documented for your account there.

Authentication is the same everywhere: a bearer token issued per client.

On this node

• GET /version.json — build and region, public
• GET /health.json — liveness probe, public
• GET /api/ — anything else requires Authorization: Bearer <token>, otherwise 401

Delivery hostnames

Each edge exposes four names; pick the one that matches your player.

• live.cdn-edge-nl1.mediabyte.tech — live origin, HLS and low-latency HLS
• hls.cdn-edge-nl1.mediabyte.tech — cached HLS segments (/segments/v2/)
• dash.cdn-edge-nl1.mediabyte.tech — MPEG-DASH chunks (/dash/v1/chunk/)
• rtc.cdn-edge-nl1.mediabyte.tech — WebRTC and QUIC delivery, UDP/443

Rate limit: 120 req/min per token. Node status.
